ArtPlus+ Daniel Oksenberg

Daniel Oksenberg is a contemporary artist working across painting and ceramics. His work explores the

interplay between collective psychology and personal history, often reinterpreting everyday scenes and

objects to examine their symbolic and cultural significance. His style ranges from figurative to decorative

and colorful abstract compositions.

He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts (with honors) from Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem

(2016). During his studies, he participated in an exchange program at the National College of Arts and

Design, Dublin, Ireland (2015), and was part of a delegation to Tokyo, Japan, on behalf of Bezalel Academy

(2016).

Oksenberg’s exhibitions and projects have been hosted by venues such as the Jerusalem Artists’ House

(2024), the French Institute, Tel Aviv (2024), Offnobank Gallery (2022), Maya Gallery, Tel Aviv (2020), and

Barbur Gallery, Jerusalem (2019). He has also participated in group exhibitions at Carpentry, Yad Mordechai

(2024), Schönfeld Gallery, Brussels (2021), and the Bar David Museum of Arts and Judaica, Kibbutz Bar’Am

(2019).

He has received several fellowships, grants, and scholarships, including the Osnat Mozes Painting Prize for

a Young Artist (2024), the Yehoshua Rabinovich Tel Aviv Foundation for the Arts grant (2024), the

Residency Grant from the French Institute in Israel (2023), and the Young Artist Award from the Israeli

Ministry of Culture and Sports (2023).

In 2023, Oksenberg undertook a residency at Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris, France.
