TALIA KURMAN

Talia Kurman is a Postwar & Contemporary artist specializing in installation art. Her work explores the relationship between painting and space, often creating immersive environments that challenge traditional perceptions of art and its boundaries.

She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem (2020), and is currently pursuing her MFA at the Hochschule für bildende Künste (HFBK), Hamburg, Germany.

Kurman’s exhibitions and projects have been hosted by institutions such as the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem, where she presented Tipat Mazal (2024). In 2025, she will present a solo project in Hamburg, further developing her investigation into spatial painting and immersive installation.

In 2020, Kurman presented Eidophusikon (Variation 4), an installation combining MDF, industrial paint, acrylic, and oil on paper, exploring the concept of painting as space and space as painting.
